Launch an original
Every launch is checked against pump.fun first. If the name, ticker and image all match a coin that already exists, it doesn't launch. Overlap is fine. Clones aren't.

A vamp is a reflection. All three have to match.
Every coin has a name, a ticker and an image. Reuse any one or two of them freely. A launch is only blocked when all three line up with a coin that's already on pump.fun.
Name
Compared after stripping case, spacing, emoji, accents, look-alike letters and filler words like "Real", "Official" or "Inu".
Ticker
"$ANS3M", "$ANSEM2" and "$ANSEMV2" all read as ANSEM. Sequel numbers and 0-for-O swaps don't make a new ticker.
Image
Matched by a 64-bit perceptual fingerprint. Mirrored, cropped, resized or recolored art still counts as the same image.
Overlap is fine. Clones aren't.

From idea to pump.fun in four steps.
Connect
Connect a Solana wallet. That's the whole sign-up.
Fingerprint
Your name, ticker and image are normalized and hashed.
Check pump.fun
The fingerprint is compared with coins already on pump.fun and on Garlic.
Sign and launch
If it isn't a 3-of-3 clone, your wallet signs and it goes live on pump.fun's bonding curve.
Your wallet is your login. That's it.
No account, no email, no KYC, and nothing following you around the site. Garlic keeps a coin's fingerprint and mint address so it can block clones. It keeps nothing about you.
Anything you launch on-chain is public by design: the mint, its name, ticker and image. Garlic doesn't add anything to that.
Fair questions.
Can two coins have the same ticker?
Yes. Tickers, names and images can each be reused. A launch is only blocked when all three match the same existing coin.
Does this stop vamps launched directly on pump.fun?
No. Garlic can only refuse launches that go through Garlic. What it guarantees is that nobody uses Garlic to clone a coin that's already on pump.fun.
What does "flagged" mean?
If two of the three match, the coin still launches, and Garlic shows which coin it overlaps with so buyers can tell them apart.
Do you ever hold my funds?
No. Garlic builds the launch transaction and your wallet signs it. Keys and SOL never leave your wallet.
Can the original creator launch again?
Yes. The wallet that launched a coin can launch a new version of its own combo.
What's live?
Wallet connect, the live pump.fun mirror test and launching are live on the deployed site. Originals and the Crypt still show example data.
What does a launch cost?
pump.fun's normal creation costs and Solana network fees, plus any initial buy you choose. Launches are built through PumpPortal's transaction API, which may charge its own fee on the initial buy. Your wallet shows the exact total before you approve.
